CHÂTEAU de
TRÉCESSON
Where: Campénéac, France
Start construction: 15th century
Accessible: very limited, private property
The current castle dates from the 15th century and probably has a predecessor. In the centuries that followed, the castle was further expanded, with the last extension in the late 18th century. The domain was owned by the Trécesson family from the 13th century until 1793. Since then, the castle has had a number of new owners. In 2022, the château and its 166 hectares of land changed hands one last time (it was for sale in 2021 for 1,875,000 euros). It is privately owned and has limited access only during the summer months. However, it can be easily admired from public roads all year round.

This website is under construction.
Until March 16, 2024, this website was hosted elsewhere.
I had to move it to a new website hosting company,
but that means that the website had to be built again from scratch.
I will do this step by step. Thanks for your patience.
In the near future, all castles will have a link to their individual webpage,
with more pictures.
